Los voluntarios de Angeles Crest 100 Trail se han unido a los esfuerzos para restaurar y renovar senderos en el Bosque Nacional Ángeles. Sin los esfuerzos de estos voluntarios y de cientos otros como ellos, los senderos que componen esta carrera dejarían de existir.
Realizar mantenimiento de senderos: todos los corredores deben completar 8 horas de mantenimiento de senderos antes del 15 de julio.
Los horarios de trabajo de mantenimiento de senderos se publican en la página de inicio y en la parte inferior de esta página. Además, se enviará por correo electrónico un calendario mensual directamente a los participantes de la carrera. Si no estás en la carrera pero te gustaría ayudar, contáctanos o completa un formulario de voluntariado.
También tenemos que lidiar con las consecuencias de la lluvia invernal de este año en nuestros senderos y caminos de acceso para realizar los trabajos de mantenimiento de los senderos.
Si vive en el sur de California (sur de Fresno), se le pedirá que realice su trabajo de sendero en el Bosque Nacional Ángeles con Gary. Sin embargo, si vive en el norte de California o en cualquier otro estado o país, realice su trabajo de sendero en el área donde vive y corre. El mantenimiento del sendero debe realizarse, enviarse y aprobarse antes del fin de semana de la carrera. Por favor, rellene el siguiente formulario.
The Trail Work is on the Edison Road between Shortcut Aid Station and Newcomb Aid Station. We will meet at Shortcut Aid Station at 8:00 AM. Hwy 2 is closed at Mt Wilson Redbox area. You need to take the Upper Big Tujunga Canyon Road to bypass the closure and reach Shortcut Aid Station. For a map to bypass the closure, go to www.ac100.com, then to “Info” and to “Hwy 2 Closure Bypass Route”. There are 3 sets of maps. Use “LaCanada Flintridge (I-210 ACH Exit) and Shortcut Aid Station” map to get to Shortcut Aid Station.

UPDATE: Tomorrow’s (Sunday May 19) Trail Work will meet at Redbox (instead of Shortcut Saddle) at 7:00AM because we completed the Trail Work on the Silver Moccasin from Shortcut to Chilao.We have to meet at 7:00AM at Redbox because parking is terrible at 8:00AM.
